I have unusually broad experience as a general practitioner. I have handled cases since 1974 in almost every identifiable area of the law, both in the courts and in various alternative dispute resolution venues such as mediation and arbitration.

*My strength in the family law area is the breadth of my knowledge, my patience, my understanding of the psychological dynamics of the divorce process and my willingness to listen until I understand my client's feelings and issues. My role in family law is to serve as confidante and counselor, to facilitate cooperation and agreement where that is feasible, and to serve as advocate and litigator, to empower my client where cooperation and agreement are not feasible.
