I entered the practice of law in 1974 as a natural outgrowth of
a life-long commitment to racial, gender and gender-identity equality
and to the nonviolent resolution of interpersonal, societal and/or
political conflict. My clients can expect direct and open communication
with me; appreciation of their feelings; dedication and diligence
in dealing with the issues involved; and loyalty, dependability
and trustworthiness. I operate from the principle that the manner
in which we pursue a particular matter influences the ultimate
outcome of the matter.
